Transportation professionals from the United States and beyond enjoyed Iowa hospitality during the Iowa Evening reception at the Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. ISU’s Institute for Transportation and the Iowa DOT were the lead sponsors of this yearly event. Iowans hosted individuals from the federal government, state DOTs, universities, other nations, and the private sector. Many graduate students also attended.

The Iowa Evening at TRB offered a chance to inform transportation professionals across the nation about the projects, programs, and priorities taking place in Iowa. It was important to share Iowa’s accomplishments and challenges and to learn what others are doing across the US.
